Tarmac and Asphalt Driveways
Despite most modern driveways being laid in asphalt, people still refer to the material as tarmac. Asphalt is harder-wearing than tarmac and is less affected by harsh weather conditions. It is also more sustainable and requires less maintenance over time.
We always thoroughly prepare all surfaces prior to laying a fresh tarmac/asphalt driveway, ensuring it is completely level and firm to prevent premature wear and tear.
Asphalt is commonly supplied in black, however we can provide alternative colours if desired. We can also build paved features into the driveway for aesthetic reasons, and install block paved borders using limestone, sandstone or granite setts; which is a very popular option.

Block paving is a popular choice for walkways and pathways as well as driveways due to its pleasant appearance and arrangement. Block paving comes in multiple styles and colours and can be laid in all manner of patterns.
